Option 2 Irish Sign Language Academy
The ISL Academy is designed to prepare and to implement a strategy for the development of ISL, organising ISL courses and to promote the status of ISL. The ISL Academy will aim to enhance the status of ISL by organising workshops with linguistic experts to facilitate the creation of the teachersí network, to agree teaching approaches of ISL and to develop policies on the basis of linguistic methodology. It will also enable the IDS to create the official policy on ISL, which will help to develop the Deaf Community in the long term.

Irish Sign Language Class Location:
ISL classes enrolments in the Castleknock Community College, Carpenterstown Road, Dublin 15. Mon 22 & Tues 23 January from 7-9pm, with classes commencing on Mon 29th.
